By this time in the school year, everyone is ready for a break: a break from the cold, dreary weather, a break from being cooped up inside, and a break from the everyday routine.
Good news! Bush-N-Vine Farm is offering field trips this spring!
Here’s what you can expect:
*Our field trips are best suited for students in grades Kindergarten—3rd grade.
*Students will learn about the life cycle of the strawberry plant and have the opportunity to pick strawberries to take home.
*Students will learn about the importance of honey bees on the farm and will see the bees busy at work inside our observation beehive.
*Students will visit the greenhouse and will get to plant their own seeds to take home.
*Students will learn about the farmer’s occupation and what a career in agriculture is like.
*We have picnic tables and grassy areas available for you if you’d like to eat your lunch here.
*Cost per student, parent, sibling is $8.40. No cost for teachers.
*Field trips will be offered April 15, 2015—May 15, 2015. We expect for our schedule to fill up quickly, so we recommend that you schedule your field trip as soon as possible.
*Field trips begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and last roughly 1 hour and 30 min.
*Field trips must be scheduled in advance.
