Is your produce Organic?
- Our produce is not organic however we only spray when necessary and as little as possible. We care very much about the safety of our produce because we grow the fruits and vegetables for you as well as for our families.
Do you spray Glyphosate or Round-Up on your crops?
- We do not spray glyphosate on our crops. Glyphosate is a non selective herbicide that would kill our plants if we spray them with it. There are some row crops (cotton, corn, soybeans and maybe a few others) that can be sprayed with Glyphosate because they are resistant to the herbicide however we do not grow those crops.
How are you able to grow strawberries in the Fall and Winter?
- The key to being able to grow strawberries in the Fall and Winter is being able to create the best growing environment we possibly can for strawberries. The variety that we grow in the fall is one of the same ones that we grow in the Spring. Being able to protect the strawberries from freezing temperature and increasing day length are all very important factors when growing strawberries.
