Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of produce can I expect in my basket?
You can visit our Crops In Season page for more information about the crops that we grow during each season.

Do you offer smaller share sizes or half share sizes?
Yes, we are now offering extra-small CSA boxes.

Is the price of the CSA a weekly or seasonal cost?
The price is a one time cost for each season. (Example: You pay $150 for an x-small Spring CSA. You only pay that price once for the Spring CSA. It must be paid before the deadline. But in return we will deliver a box of $18.75 worth of produce to your delivery location each week for 8 weeks.

Why is the deadline for the Summer I CSA before the start date of the Spring CSA?
In farming, it is important that you plan ahead. Therefore, we try to set the deadline for each CSA 60+/- days in advance to the start date. This allows us to make sure we have enough of each particular vegetable planted and it gives us a little time to plant more if we need to.

Customer Comments

"We appreciate your great produce and your friendly, helpful staff."

"I was delighted by the quality and variety of the produce-great job."

"Love buying local and knowing where my food comes from and supporting the local farmers."

"This was my first year...I'm hooked. Thanks, my freezer is full for the winter."

"Enjoy all produce, sometimes amount is more than enough for two people but most everything can be frozen or shared with others."

"This is the first time trying the CSA program. There was produce I had never seen before. I used the Internet and found some great recipes. My favorite was the Chinese cabbage slaw with mango. So thank you for taking me out of the basics veggies to try new veggies. I have been going on Saturday to pick up extra veggies. You have a believer in fresh produce from your place. I have always gone to *******. So now I know the right place to go for fresh veggies. Thank you."
