CSA...What is it? And how does it work? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture or Community Sponsored Agriculture. Basically, that's a fancy way to say, "Here's a fun way to eat fresh produce and support local farmers at the same time!" So here's how the program works here at our farm: First, you decide which CSA season you'd like to sign up for. We offer five options here at the Bush-N-Vine: Spring, Summer I, Summer II, Fall and Winter. Next, you decide which size "share" would best fit your needs. We have extra-small, small, medium, and large shares available. An extra small feeds approximately 1-2 people. A small feeds approximately 2 or 3 people. A medium feeds approximately 3 or 4 people. And a large feeds about 5 or 6. Then, you sign up and pay for your produce in advance. This is a one-time cost, and the amount depends on the size share you choose to purchase. An extra small costs $120 A small share costs $155. A medium costs $226. A large share costs $298. Sign up and pay online Finally, you get a delicious basket of produce each week, for seven weeks! And best of all, your basket of fresh fruits and vegetables is delivered to a location near you--how convenient! All you have to do is stop by, pick up your basket, take it home, and enjoy! We hope that answers most of your questions! If you are still wondering about something or need clarification, please contact us. We'd love to help! Our phone number is (803) 684-2732 and our email address is email@example.com.
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of produce can I expect in my basket? You can visit our Crops In Season page for more information about the crops that we grow during each season.
Do you offer smaller share sizes or half share sizes? Yes, we are now offering extra-small CSA boxes Why is the deadline for the Summer I CSA before the start date of the Spring CSA? In farming it is important the you plan ahead. Therefore we try to set the deadline for each CSA 60+/- days in advance to the start date. This allows us to make sure we have enough of each particular vegetable planted and it gives us a little time to plant more if we need to.
There will be a $5 charge if you change pick up locations after you sign up. Please choose your pick up location carefully.
To help offset our delivery cost we will be charging a $7 fee for any pick-up locations outside of a 20 mile radius of our farm.

"We appreciate your great produce and your friendly, helpful staff." "I was delighted by the quality and variety of the produce-great job."
"Love buying local and knowing where my food comes from and supporting the local farmers."
"This was my first year...I'm hooked. Thanks, my freezer is full for the winter."
"Enjoy all produce, sometimes amount is more than enough for two people but most everything can be frozen or shared with others." "This is the first time trying the CSA program. There was produce I had never seen before. I used the Internet and found some great recipes. My favorite was the Chinese cabbage slaw with mango. So thank you for taking me out of the basics veggies to try new veggies. I have been going on Saturday to pick up extra veggies. You have a believer in fresh produce from your place. I have always gone to *******. So now I know the right place to go for fresh veggies. Thank you."
